I am going to share one of the reasons behind it. Namely, it is all related to the LinkedIn algorithm or the way that the LinkedIn algorithm works. If you are sharing a video or other type of content on LinkedIn that needs to be uploaded, like a PDF file or similar, upload the original content. That is the secret tip. Simply upload the original content. Do not share the link of the video that has already been uploaded to some other platform. YouTube or Facebook are good examples of other platforms in this case.


LinkedIn does not want its users to go away from LinkedIn and use some other social media platform. In the case you share a link to the YouTube video, this is exactly what will happen. LinkedIn will not push your content in this case in order for fewer people to see it. Linkedin does not want its users to follow the link and visit another platform.
